Melle & Michelle
CEO / Operations Manager & Business Manager
Melle & Michelle met whilst serving with Operation Mobilisation onboard the MV Doulos in 2000. Melle, originally from the Netherlands, brought his background in merchant shipping to serve as an Engineer. Michelle was born on the North-West Coast of Tassie and grew up in Hobart, venturing overseas as an extended post-school break. Married and settled back in Hobart, Melle ventured into a new world of Policing as an alternative to extended periods of time away from home. Having graduated from the Police Academy they moved with their now one year old daughter to Devonport for the next life adventure! Having a background in hospitality and retail, Michelle moved into the administration sector and also branched out as a group fitness instructor. With the addition of their Son the family put down roots on the North-West coast and laid aside earlier intentions of moving back to Hobart.
Having come from quite contrasting Church backgrounds, they found a Church-family at Oldaker Christian Centre where Melle now serves as an Elder, and Michelle facilitates the Music Team. Life is never dull as Melle enjoys running and as a never ending source of banter, Michelle is a keen cyclist. The Zwerver family are very excited to see their passion for community and serving the local Church find a new outlet as Site and Office Manager for Camp Clayton.
They are eager to see people experience new adventures in their faith as they engage with friends and family.

Activities Team
Sarah, Samuel, Caleb, Melle, Josh, Jayden & Ainsley
The Activities team run all our onsite adventure activities including the high ropes, giant swing, flying fox and rock wall. They are all trained and signed off on each activity before running them so that we can run our activities with the highest level of safety.
