Hey there! I’m Ainsley, and I’m stoked to be a part of the Peak program in 2022.
I started attending Camp as a leader in grade 8 and have done almost one camp every holidays since. Being involved in Camp over the years, I have got to make some really fun memories like the time I got to supervise a Shrek themed camp with my brother and the other time I had a staff member collect me in an ambulance from a helicopter.
Last year there were so many conversations and things that happened where I just felt like life kept pushing me in the direction of Peak and as much as I tried to deny it, I just knew it needed to be in my life this year.
This year is teaching me so many things already, like patience and the importance of slowing down. It’s pushing me to take part in activities that traditionally I would never choose to take part in (like hikes lol) and I’m finding that I’m enjoying the memories they create.
I am so excited for what the rest of this year holds.
