Step One - Volunteer Application Form (VAF)

Great you interested in volunteering at our Camps. The Volunteer Application form gives us the necessary information we need to be able to best help you volunteer in our holiday camp program. Fill out the application form: Click here.

In this application, you will need to copy the link (below) and send it to your referees to fill out. These need to be two Christian referees: (eg. Church Elder, Pastor, Youth Group Leader, Mentor, Employer, Community Leader, etc.) family members are not adequate referees. You will need to tick that you have sent the link to your referees on page 2.

Step two - Working with Vulnerable People Check

Apply for working with vulnerable people check. Click here.

All our volunteers are required to have a Working with Vulnerable People Check completed. If you are over 16 you must have a registered Working with Vulnerable People Card. This must be provided to Camp before you Volunteer at your first or next camp. If you are under 16, you do not need to worry about this until you turn 16.

In the application process, Camp Clayton’s official registered organisation name is Christian Youth Centre Inc.

Step Three - We will be in touch

The Camp Clayton Ministry Team will be in touch with you once they have processed your Volunteer Application Form (VAF) and they have a spot perfect for you for one of their upcoming camps. Sit tight and start to pray into the leader you want to become.

Step One - Pre Camp Registration

Click Here to register as a leader for the Camp we’ve contacted you for! It will ask for a coupon code which a Ministry Coordinator will provide you with.

Before each camp, we require volunteers to register so we have their medical and dietary information. If you are over 18 you may fill out this form for yourself, but if you are under 18, we do require your parent/guardian to submit on your behalf.

Step two - Working with Vulnerable People Check

Have you recently turned 16 or don’t have a Working with Vulnerable People Card? We now need you to also apply for a WWVP check.

In the application process, Camp Clayton’s official registered organisation name is Christian Youth Centre Inc.

Step Three - Update your VAF

To lead at Camp Clayton you are required to have a current VAF (3 years or less).

Updating your VAF is a quick and easy process, as the from is a different one, we just need you to update us on any changes in your circumstances.

Step FOUR - We will see you at camp

All leaders are required to be at Camp at the appropriate time that is given to you via the Volunteers email for those who have been invited to that camp.
