I’m Jayden and I am over the moon to be part of the 2022 Peak Program.
I’m a Somerset boy and got involved with Camps at Camp Clayton about five years ago and this was where I learnt that the PEAK program existed.
In all honesty, when I was finishing year 12, I didn’t think that the Peak program was for me, so I went to Uni to pursue teaching. Towards the end of my first year of studying I started to think that maybe this wasn’t what I was supposed to be doing right now. I then spent a week at Camp where I had a couple of conversations with Sam about the Peak program and he sold it to me pretty well. I also felt as though God was giving me a nudge into applying.
The reason that I joined the Peak program was because I wanted to spend a year in an environment where I could really grow in my faith and a place where I could be surrounded by people that positively impacted me. Since starting the program I have learnt a lot more about who I am and this has helped me work towards being the best version of myself.
I can’t wait to keep learning and growing through this amazing program, as well as spending time with this incredible camp family!
