Thank you for taking the time to talk to us Michelle, please tell us what your role is here at Camp and how long have you worked here?
I assist my husband, Melle, as Site Manager and take more of a role in Admin, Business and Finance. I have been working here for four months.
It must be great getting to work alongside your husband! What do you love about Camp?
I love getting to know the amazing variety of people who come onsite. I love seeing them build great relationships while having an amazing adventure together!
They are all amazing reasons. How do you like to spend your weekends?
Sleep and ride my bike.
We also love our sleep! If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
I’d love to see the procession that King David led when they brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem.
That would have been great to watch. We want to know what you would choose to eat if you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life?
BBQ chicken pizza.
If you had to write a self-help book, what would the topic be?
How to make the different areas of life compliment and support one another rather than compete with each other.
What an interesting book that would be. What is something on your bucket list?
To go to a concert by Coldplay or The Killers.

Michelle is a one of a kind! Whether planning camps, answering calls, welcoming groups, sorting out accounts, assisting campers and leaders with conflict resolution or devising the next strategic direction on how to save a business dollar, this girl has the lot! On top of all this, she’s a mum, loving wife and I have it under good authority she’s an avid cyclist, with several national masters’ medals! What can’t this lady do? 😉”. She is a tremendous addition to camp with a servant heart to boot!
