For 70 years, Camp Clayton has been running Holiday camps for young people. We are famous for our great programs, excellent cabin leaders and we specilise in making sure every camper feels appreciated for who they are!
At Camp Clayton we believe in a positive and promising future for the young people of Tasmania. We therefore have a commitment to contributing to the development of, and having a positive input into the lives of our young people. From every aspect of camp we endeavor to provide a quality, high adventure, community-based environment in which your children can be safe and are comfortable to be themselves.
We have a big heart for young people, we desire the very best for them. An important part of this includes the sharing of our faith in Jesus Christ. We respect everyone to make their own choices and decisions, but run our programs based upon Christian content and values.
Camp Clayton has been running holiday camp programs for over 60 years. In that time much has changed in community and government expectations and we have worked hard to move with the times in the areas of duty of care, safety and compliance. Our continual desire is to run programs that are fun and exciting but do not fall short on safety and wellbeing of our young people.
Our first priority is to ensure your child has a safe experience. We do this in a number of ways, thorough comprehensive risk management processes, quality staff training for holiday camp programs, staff screening and compliance with the working with children check and full time youth work coordinators that focus on the wellbeing of young people in our care.
Camp Clayton prides itself on being good value, with our fun packed programs from morning till night we believe our camps offer excellent value for money whatever the length of stay. We have quality meals prepared each day that offer great taste and variety, programs that are active, safe and engaging, staff that love to be here and care for your children and great facilities that are well maintained.
Young people attending camp develop their social skills, experience adventure, learn new skills, develop long lasting friendships, see the role modeling of positive leadership, learn responsibility and experience community.
